Subj:   Unable to call Teradata Stored Procedure from Informatica

From:   Gurumurthi, Arun

Hi,

We are trying to call a Teradata Stored procedure from informatica. We have done the ODBC setup as well.

While executing the procedure we get following error :-

Severity Timestamp Node Thread Message Code Message

ERROR 7/15/2008 1:51:35 PM Node_PC8_CHIDEVS01D PRE-SESS TM_6159 Error executing stored procedure...

TM_6159 [0] [FnName: PrepareSP -- [NCR][ODBC Teradata][Teradata Database] '{' ('7B'X) is not a valid Teradata SQL token.]

We do not want to use a Bteq procedure to call the procedure instead wan tot use the Informatica Stored Procedure transformation. Also we are able to call the procedure from Sql Assitant sucessfully.

Please advice what can be the root cause and how to resolve this.

Thanks & Regards

Arun Gurumurthi
