The '{' character is used for ODBC SQL Extensions.
It looks like Informatica is generating these extensions and the ODBC driver is not translating them before sending the result to Teradata.
This probably means that the ODBC parser is switched off. Take a look at your DSN and make sure the option 'Disable Parsing' is not
checked.
(There may also be an option within Informatica that controls parsing, so look for that too - SQL Assistant has an option that overrides what
is in the DSN.)
