Hi,

We want to load large amount of data(50 million) from Teradata to oracle Database. Could you please suggest better approach for this.

It is done using Informatica tool and using relational connections takes more than 7 hours.

I am trying to link fast export and SQL loader in Informatica, but doesn?t seem to work. Is this good approach?

Could you please also suggest the best mode to export file using fast export that can be read by SQL loader.

I tried casting columns to datatype VARCHAR in SELECT query and it works, but it is tedious work to type cast hundreds of columns and many tables.

This also causes too much CPU overhead during CAST.
