One more question, if I may ... How do I set up a Procedure to Consume rows from the Queue Table and, more particularly, get it to re-start once it's consumed the TOP 1 ? Certainly I can set of the Procedure and I would expect it to wait until a row arrives on the Queue Table. It would then Consume it, process it and then, unless I code it to continue forever, essentially stop. Is the perceived wisdom that I'd make use of Job Scheduler and use this to make the Job (probably a Bteq Script invoking a Stored Procedure) Cyclic ? I would also imagine - haven't tried it yet, but I will - that the Stored Procedure will just sit there in an Active State, but waiting for a row to turn up. ?So, from the Job Scheduler's perspective, the Stored Procedure could be running for a long, long time (depending upon the frequency of Queue Row activity) Any other ideas or mechanisms to make this work ? Regards David Clough
