Hi,

Thanks the info.

I was able to create such an alert, but now I want to know if it's correct or not. (a node down, is not just something I can test whenever I want :-) )

So under alert types I've chosen node, clicked on the "+" sign added the alert "Node down". In the fields, below rules, I've selected "status" from the first drop down box, from the second drop down box, I've selected "equals to" and just next to it, I've provided the value "D". (looking at the alert example, I guess that's the value it needs)

Are there any other fields I need to fill in?

Regards.
