Subj:   DDL inside a Macro

From:   sughesh iyyani

Hi Experts,

We are using TD 13.10.

We know in TD 13, we can have multiple statements (DMLs) inside a macro along with one DDL, but particular DDL should be the last one.

But as I am trying to create a macro with some insert statements and at last I am putting a DDL to create a backup table (create table2 as table1 with data).

But its giving following error - 3576 Data definition not valid unless solitary. A data definition statement may be used in a macro, but only when the only statement in the macro is the data definition statement.

Could anybody please explain why TD 13.10 giving error like this.

Thanks in advance,

Sughesh I S.
