Hi,

Now if i have a lot of joins on Column C, will it help in performance enhancement if i define SI on it.

[ANS] It will help in performance enhancement.

I heard that defining SI on columns that already part of PI is not advisable.

[ANS] I think if the primary index is created on multiple columns and if we are using one of those columns individually in lot of queries either for join/condition then it is preferable to create SI on that column.
