Hi,

I have a small doubt regarding SI.

If i have a table with 10 columns say A-J & the PI is defined on columns (A,B,C, D).

Now if i have a lot of joins on Column C, will it help in performance enhancement if i define SI on it.

I heard that defining SI on columns that already part of PI is not advisable.

Please elaborate on this one.
