If the uninstall of Teradata V2R6.1 did not work properly, then you should select the Cleanup option from the Tools menu of the Teradata
Service Control program. This menu selection will completely remove the Teradata Database software. Then you should restart Windows. The
Teradata Service Control program is installed when you install the Teradata Demo Applications for TW 8.1 Demo.
