Subj:		Conflicts with Teradata Backups

We have been having issues with our backups getting blocked due to some of our load processes over the weekends. I opened an incident with Teradata and was told that it is neither recommended or supported to run loads during the backup window. Our backups take over 9 hours to complete and it is not very feasible to not run loads for a 9 hour window.

I was wondering if there are any of you who are doing database activity during the backup windows (especially loads) and if you have had any issues with conflicts between mload/fload and backups.
