I have tried recreating a new data souce, but i am now receiving the following error message "Unknown error occurred in terasso library." For GQL, the host connection file is using a TDP entry value of E-, and doesn't have any IP addresses hard-coded. Within MSI, i am using a server name and port number to connect to various Teradata databases (no hard-coded IP addresses). Only Queryman appears to have hard-coded IP addresses. One last note: now that the ODBC entry is gone, i can still connect via GQL and MSI. they don't appear to be depending on the ODBC entry as PC SAS and Queryman are. 1) Not sure how to easily find this out. 2) 3.04 TDATA32.dll (11/2/2004) 3) Here is a snippet of code which shows how i connect to Teradata via PC SAS Proc SQL: Contained within autoexec.sas %LET Profitability_DSN=tdpe; this is the ODBC entry %LET Profitability_SERVER=DANCRP52; %LET Profitability_UID=XXXXXX; %LET Profitability_PWD=XXXXXX; %LET Profitability_DATABASE=tdpe; %LET Profitability_ADDRESS=DANCRP52; === PROC SQL NOPRINT FEEDBACK; CONNECT TO ODBC( "DSN=&Profitability_DSN;" || "SERVER=&Profitability_SERVER;" || "UID=&Profitability_UID;" || "PWD=&Profitability_PWD;" || "DATABASE=&Profitability_DATABASE;" || "Address=&Profitability_ADDRESS" ); CREATE TABLE SASLIBA.PLANTYPEINFO AS Select PLAN_TYP_CODE FORMAT=$20.
