When i create my ODBC entry for Teradata, I specify a company-recommended alias, and also ensure that i do not click on the "Do not resolve alias name or IP address" option. The net result is that the hard-coded IP addresses are then added by the system somehow. By the way, I am using Teradata 3.04 (Tdata32.dll - 11/2/2004). I just deleted my Teradata ODBC entry, and attempted to add another entry, but as soon as i click on the Finish button, i receive the following error message: "Unknown error occurred in terasso library." I initially thought that the IP addresses had been altered because the staff had mentioned they needed to make some changes, but now with this error, it looks like they may have upgraded the Teradata driver. Is that possible? What is the latest .dll for CLI? What incompatibility issues should i be researching, as far as DLLs are concerned? thanks!!!
