A rough estimate is about 800 Gigs per node with RAID1. That is what was calculated sometime back when I was doing some investigation on the
same assisgnment. I did a more accurate formula in the Teradata Design Manual, if I recollect properly.

Hardware is based on more on performance, backup strategy, relational growth of the number of users, etc.

Why would you like to have both ODS and EDW on same server? Any specific reason???
