Roland,
I see that you are running V2R.05.00.02.21...we did some testing in above said version and finally found out that there were quite a few
optimizer related issues which are fixed in V2R5.1.1 . I do not see why the explain should change if you have different logon partitions.
I would personally recommend V2R5.1.1
