Hi, We have an alert defined that we have to change once every month. Each month before the application runs, we have to add the ID to the list of exceptions, or raise the limit of the alert. The Alert is held in table dbcmngr.AlertLevel and the list of exceptions are held in table dbcmngr.AlertControl. My question is ... if I directly update these tables (which can be done from any platform), will it take immediate effect or are the values in Teradata Managers memory and will have no effect unless I go through Teradata Manager and apply the changes? Thanks in advance, Regards Keith Hammond. Data Warehousing Services
