I implemented a single views database for our user community. This makes life easier for our BI folks (Business Objects) in that they only
have one source for their universes, and it makes my DBA life a lot simpler from a maintenance and enhancement perspective.
Some organizations have special security needs that preclude taking such a straightforward approach, but I always apply the KISS principle
where I can.
