The ability to use an empty string as a null indicator was added in Queryman 5.0 ... so even though you are running an old version it is supported. (Current version is 6.2) Apparently the combination of a cast and a null indicator is not possible (as you are using it, at least.) I will experiment a little and see if I can find a way to specify a null in a cast even when using bound parameters. (Check the setting of the 'Allow use of ODBC SQL extensions' option. If it is checked try un-checking it. Maybe the ODBC driver itself is trying to do the cast. [unlikely though]) Timestamps have always been very 'picky' - dates work with a lot more flexability ... So if you are not using the time part try casting as a date. Mike Dempsey
