Hey there

I have a situation where there are multiple clients (windows and Unix) who access Teradata. Some Attempt (though never succeed) to login as DBC , and that locks out DBC for the Admin. So , is there some mechanism , where I can authorize "WHERE" DBC LOGINS CAN TAKE PLACE. e.g. DBC logins can only take place from IP addresses (xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx and xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx). So if someone tries to logon as DBC from yyy.yyy.yyy.yyy it will simple not authorize that person to logon, before it attempts to validate the DBC password.

THanks
