I've only used the DBC signon 15 or 20 times in the last 16 years.
The password is locked up in our safe and I am the only one who uses it, and then usually only in conjunction with NCR doing maintenance, DIP
scripts, etc.
Best practice used to be to use SysAdmin and SysDBA logons. DBC was reserved for the DBA/System Administrator.
