Geoffrey and Sanjaya,
Thank you for your replies.Apparently, the approach we are using will not work for ddl but can anyone tell us if there is any other possible
way to feed the database name into a DDL statement within a bteq script - and if so how? We are running the scripts from a Windows 2000 server.
(This might be similar to feeding control files into MVS JCL.)
