What we did in UNIX, which I believe would work in NT, is set up a protected dirctory called password. In this directory is a file for each of our logons. For instance td0dba. Each file has the syntax, .login td0/dba, password; We then pass in the login file name to our procedure. It exectues .run file=${filename};, e.g., .run file=${HOME}/password/td0dba This seems to work for all of the utilities we use, bteq, multiload, and fastexport. Because the owner is the only ID having access to the directory, they are protected.
