We did something very similar under Windows 2000 for Fast Export.

All our FastExport scripts for a single project, uses one LOGON.FEXP script, which is then executed via the .RUN command.

I then wrote a utility which is scheduled to run every week, to automatically change the password for each of the LOGON.FEXP files for all projects.

We had to do this, because our security policy enforces a 30 day password timeout, which under Teradata, means that all users, have to change their password. This is one of the areas that V2R5 will solve.

But for now this utility ensures that the scripts never fail due to a password needing to be changed, and ensures that all users have a good level of security.
