Generally I would agree with JK's statements here....The one practical exception I would make is that in certain business processes, that
old, old, record based processing model still fits certain business needs. Usually you see this when you need to generate some level of
detailed reporting on business transactions themselves as well as performing the transactions but even there, it is often possible to
effect a solution with SQL alone.....
