Hi,

I guess you are asking for the Teradata Roadmap.

-----------------------

Teradata currently support MPRAS on 32-bit Intel Hardware. (NCR world Mark SMP amd MPP models )

--------------------------

Teradata currently support Windows 2000 Advanced Server on 32-bit Intel Hardware. (NCR, Compaq, HP, Dell and IBM SMP models and NCR World Mark MPP models )

-------------------------

Windows NT 4.0 support was dropped with the introduction of v2r4.1 in August of 2001.

--------------------------

Teradata currently don't support Windows XP because its Servers are 4 way servers and Windows XP can only be licensed for up to 2 cpu machines.

The Teradata v2r4.1 DEMO disk will not currently run on Windows XP, however there is a patch available which will allow it to run on XP.

---------------------

Teradata demonstrated at 2001 Partners confernece in October, Teradata v2r4.1 running on INTEL's (first generation) 64-bit Itanium hardware using Windows .NET Advanced Server Beta 2.

The release of this product is tied to Microsoft releasing the 64-bit version of Windows .Net Advanced server for Public sale and Intel making the 64-bit chip available for Public sale.

---------------------------------------------------

Teradata is porting to HP-UX running on the Intel 64-bit platform. This was also announced at Partners 2001 as well as the HP/NCR joint press release from June 2001.

Again the release of this product the various 3rd party vendors making available all the necessary components to allow to port, test, and sell a viable product.

---------------------------------------

Teradata demonstartated Teradata v2r4.1 running on LINUX in one of the presentations at Partners 2001. Therefore it could be done if the Market conditions warrented. At this time there is no plans persue this OS. Please ask again next year.

-------------------------------------

Hope this clarifies the roadmap.
