Seriously though, I hope your are asking the same type of questions with a really 'open Oracle' discussion chain as well and not just TDATA. Also, I hope that you insist that you visit 2-3 Oracle references that are doing the same thing that you want to do and ask the 'real questions' that should be asked. Seems like you have a pretty good handle on those - but ask both!

And if you are really in doubt - how about doing a 'benchmark' and give both vendors the same data, requirements and guidelines to complete within a set time limit. May I also suggest you make the data set REALLY BIG - as I'm sure your data warehouse will be Big too. No use test driving a Volkswagen if you need to provide transport for a family of 6! Just some thoughts that I know you have already thought out and, give both vendors the chance to prove they can actually do the job with the resources and constraints that usually exist in these environments.
