I was wondering about the claim of over 500 nodes. Doesn't this indicate limited acceptance of v2r4.1? Although 500 sounds like a lot, you can get 500 nodes with just one large machine and a bunch of small ones. I know that we have been pressured to upgrade to v2r4.1, but we've decided to wait until we hear how other customers have been doing with it. Any other production shop experiences with V2R4.1?

I don't know about the High pressure for accounts to move to 4.1.

However, like any company with a new release we would like all of our customers up on the current release so when we don't have to spend resources supporting the older releases and we can spend more resources on the current and future releases.

This is Just good business sense.

I know the number of SITES and NODES running the current release within the first 5 months of its release is the most ever for 4.1.

This being a PUBLIC Site I don't think I am at liberty to go into details about WHO has upgraded. If you want to contact me directly I might be able to get a few customer names for you to contact regarding 4.1.

I am sure Robin at the Limited can give you some comments and I hope that I can turn those Jeers into cheers because one negative comment can do more damage that 10 good comments and like I said my opinion is a little biased.
