This is the final post of the TeradataForum.

With its inception in 1999, the TeradataForum has always been administered as time permitted. For several years, my other project (roadsidethoughts.com) has been demanding more of my time and I've reached the point where I had to make a choice. I'm sorry, but the time has come to move on.

The e-mail addresses 'newpost@...' or 'anomy.anom@...' have been black-holed. Any mail sent will be discarded unread. After the distribution of this note, no mail will come from 'teradataforum@...' or 'digest@...'.

All memberships have been dropped. As always, the membership list will not be disclosed to anyone.

The TeradataForum archives (nearly 35,000 posts) will continue to be available on the website. As in the past, the archives are open to anybody who wants to read them. I expect the website and its archives to be available for years to come.

As a closing thought, I would like to thank all of you who have participated on the TeradataForum.

I would like to wish all of you the best in your pursuits.
