Have you tried using the DataConnector attributes such as these:

* QuotedData = 'No' (which according to the manual is the default)

* OpenQuoteMark = '~' (i.e. something that is not in the data and is not a double quote - according to my manual there is no default)

Given what the manual says, you shouldn't need to specify these options - but it is something to check and/or try.
