<-- Anonymously Posted: Tuesday, January 19, 2016 07:25 --> Hi All, Is it mandatory to do module load everytime for executing Teradata utility jobs ? Overview - In our plant Multiple Teradata jobs are being executed during its initialization phase the "module load /teradata/client/14.10.0 is executed" which creates a temporary directory in /tmp folder, so whenever job executes it creates a subdirectory directory which has the odbc.ini file in it and its same for all user which are triggered and needs to be cleaned up manually. Question 1) Can we execute a Teradata utility everytime without executing module load everytime , and rather create a directory only once in /tmp folder and make it reuse everytime for the job ? How to do it ? Question 2) module load xxxclient?? creates the subdirectory and module unload xxxclient cleans up the directory , Is it possible to auto cleanup rather adding the module unload at the end of job script. Need your help on this , Thanks in advance
