Subj:   Re: Queries on DBQL tables running into Parsing State

From:   Sravan.Bodla

Hi Abhishek,

Thanks!

So, you mean to say that, if a user has large no. of roles, the Query takes more time as it has to check the 'Security on dictionary tables' and then resolve steps?

The user is having thousands of roles assigned to him. And thousands of direct access. I am new to this assignment but, the project is stable and don't have knowledge on which roles are necessary/which are not.

Could you please advise on how to handle roles/access rights assigned to a super user?

Usually how is a super user handled/granted access rights? For example, SYSDBA, DBAADMIN users (which are regular DBA users). How are the count of access rights or roles reduced on a super user?

We are on TD 13.10.

Hi Mark, I am referring to DBC DBQL tables and only present days data available. (Provided all possible filter conditions).

Thanks,

Sravan.
