The Superuser usually requires all roles so that they can grant these roles and rights to all other users. If you have a regular batch process
that you use against dbc qrylog tables, may be you can look at creating a new batch user that only has one or two roles to perform this work. We
usually use our own userID for day to day queries and daily weekly jobs get run by such a user.
