Hi, One of our clients have upgraded to TD 13.10.04.04. They have defined all their Resource Partitions, Performance Groups and Allocation Groups on the command line with schmon. Now that they are using ViewPoint they want to see the information in Workloads and also to use all the characteristics of this version. If I look at the information in the Priority Scheduler Administrator I see only the default definitions, not those ones made on the command line. If I watch the configuration on the command line I get this: Utility schmon started in processor 0, partition 20. Scheduler Times & Attributes: Age Time(sec): 60 Active Time(sec): 61 Limit(%): none Resource Partitions (0 - 4) Id Partition Name Weight Limit 0 Default 20 none 1 Tactical 60 none 2 Standard 20 none Performance Groups (0 - 249) Id Group Name RP Type Milestones & Allocation Groups[0-7] 0 L 0 S 0.00 1 1 M 0 S 0.00 2 2 H 0 S 0.00 3 3 R 0 S 0.00 4 4 PGWL1 2 S 0.00 6 5 PGWL2 2 S 0.00 5 6 PGWL3 2 S 0.00 5 7 PGWL4 2 S 0.00 6 8 PGWL5 2 S 0.00 7 9 UNUSED9 0 S 0.00 2 10 UNUSED10 0 S 0.00 2 11 UNUSED11 0 S 0.00 2 12 UNUSED12 0 S 0.00 2 13 UNUSED13 0 S 0.00 2 14 UNUSED14 0 S 0.00 2 15 UNUSED15 0 S 0.00 2 16 UNUSED16 0 S 0.00 2 17 UNUSED17 0 S 0.00 2 18 UNUSED18 0 S 0.00 2 19 UNUSED19 0 S 0.00 2 Allocation Groups (0 - 199) Id Type Wght Lim Id Type Wght Lim Id Type Wght Lim Id Type Wght Lim 1 N 5 none 2 N 10 none 3 N 20 none 4 N 40 none 5 N 40 none 6 N 20 none 7 N 10 none 8 N 20 none AWT Expedited work type limits res max 0 80 This either doesn't reflect the definitions made on the command line. There were thresholds by hour and by session and the Performance Groups were defined to different Allocation Groups than shown here (taken from the option Priority Scheduler in ViewPoint). Also why it says unused although they were defined with a proper name and when watching the monitor the Performance Groups are shown as defined. I have tried to find the necessary information transfer these configurations to ViewPoint without success (define Workloads in ViewPoint, why the information shown isn't correct etc.). Now I'm with my back against the wall, we should be able to configure this today. Any help is more than welcome. Saludos Christer Grnholm
