I got a call early this morning from Operations team with a Teradata error.

From DB2 Mainframe we found below messages from TDPP job.

     TDP1700 Communication lost with the Teradata Database
     TDP1702 Teradata Database communication has been re-established.

As you see, the error was fixed by itself after 3 minutes.

From Teradata side I am trying to find the same error. I looked at DBC.Software_Event_Log table but even one day's portion has so many rows. I am looking for a SQL to find the error message in dbc.software_event_log table.

Besides dbc.Software_event_log table, is there other source to find the error in Teradata?
