Thanks for the advice on the main options .... Ironically, passing the DML.DDL into a Stored Procedure is something that I'd separately coded for our Operational System ... just hadn't made the same mental connection with Teradata. Anyway, on this occasion, I think I'll use Python to 'grep' the information I want, then invoke a Teradata Macro to insert the data into a Logging Table. Once again I'm dismayed with Bteq, however ..... ho hum. Regards David Clough
