Hi all,
I was wondering if Teradata or anyone in the Teradata community has created any UDFs that allow for extracting from a VARBYTE into char,
decimal, etc depending on the data required from within the VARBYTE. We want to be able to load data as VARBYTE into our warehouse and then use a
UDF to extract the required details within the Teradata processing. The data in the VARBYTE is not consistent for location of the data.
