Sridhar, There are ways depending upon how you have created Backup scripts. 1. Check logs for those completed backups. 2. Recreate another script for only those DBs/Tables where the jobs failed. 3. Normally we submit multiple jobs to take advantage parallel backup/restore. This way you can save time for failed jobs and restore too will be in parallel. 4. Creating small jobs avoids lock contention if different DBs carefully put in different scripts. In the absence of cause for failure and other details, I cannot comment much. Thanks, Mushtak Mirajkar.
