Hi Gurus,

I have a very basic question on capacity planning in Teradata.

Basically what are the paremeters based on which we decide single or multinode system and the number of amps and number of PEs configuration for a specific database size.

For ex. my requirement is 1 Teradata byte Teradata system with 100 concurrent users and retrieval of data less than 1 minute.

So for this requirement how do I decide SMP or MPP and number of AMPs for optimum configuration.
