At the time when you create DSN name [Remember you will have to pass on DSN Name, IP address etc...] 2. Setting at SQL Asst level [ I think the command is "DATABASE as/= But these will work out as long as you are using specific session/ DSN name... which does not deserve a session end... Now, In case we need a set a Default database for user, we can do it at profile level..... Check the profile, the user belongs to.. and modify the profile... which is permanent effect as long as we are using the same user/ profile.. Hope this can help you.
