Ulrich and Paul -- thanks for the responses.

We are on 13.10 and have no plans to turn back, so I'll look into the DBS Setting -- specifically No13dot0Backdown.

We are using Atanasoft.

On the long list item that impacts compression issue, I believe that the compress definition must fit into ~8100 characters. Also, there is a restriction per the table header, but with the increased size of table headers, I doubt that will be an issue; however, U never know! I'm expecting Atanasoft to respect to these restrictions when it does its work.
