Subj: | | Re: Combining Object Throttles (User/Profile) & Workload Query Limits |

From: | | sivaji.gv |
Hi,
From our experience (admit it was on V2R62 but must be same on TD12): we noticed that when we enabled Object Throttle at user-level and
workload throttles, in a way queries actually get delayed only once not twice. When users submit many queries at the same time they all reach top
of the workload delay queue at the same time but kept aside in 'Throttled Objects queue' and only released into active queue (or workload delay
queue) as per limit set in object-throttle.
So if you are implementing object throttles, make sure that Workload throttle width is bigger than object-throttle. So that one user will not
consume the workload limits.
