I'll comment on this not to criticize the approach but just to make a joke. The 80-20 rule reminded me the presentation at a major retailer
which I once attended. They have told the story of how they had invested millions in the new multi-terabyte data warehouse, successfully overcome
various technical issues and were finally enjoying the data mining results. About 80% of the presentation was about the story of the DWH creation,
20% - the results. I will simplify the latter for the sake of brevity but basically the results were of the kind that when you place beer and
chips next to each other both sell slightly better. And I sat there and thought: Why didn't you guys just talk to your local supermarket manager
before you started this project?
Same with "trouble makers". If you know your database, wouldn't you guess who they are after thinking for 5 minutes or so?
