Subj:   Teradata Performance Monitoring Object

From:   martin.barrow

Hi,

We have VB processes in place that are used to pick up on performance issues and alert via the web. This uses the Teradata Performance Monitoring Object to get the data from the Teradata Manager server.

We are looking to upgrade T/Manager to TTU 12 (whilst leaving RDBMS at V2r6.2) and one of the impacts is that the DBCMNGR tables need to be updated to allow Teradata Manager 12 to work with the old system.

I'm trying to determine if this will impact the VB processes and I've had a look on DBQL and cannot see anything obvious, but was wondering if the usage of TPMO means it doesn't need to access any of the DBCMNGR tables to get the information needed.

Can anyone shed any light?

Thanks in advance,

Martin
