Hie. I am a new user in Teradata. We have a abinitio application which is a ETL tool. which loads data into teradata database. after loading a perticular table, it collects the statistics using COLLECT_STATISTICS procedure. But recently we are facing a performance issue in production. while the load part of our job has been taking approx half an hour, the statistics collection part of the job has been running for up to 9 hours. currently we are using the following statement to collect statistics. CALL SYSDBA.COLLECT_STATISTICS ('DATABASE/CONTAINER NAME', 'TABLE NAME','N',' ',RETURN_MSG) Please let me know wher to look into for this performance issue. Thanks in advance! Rit
