Geoffrey,

It's not unusual in Latin America, it's very handy because you can feed information about the loads into operational metadata tables. So yes, the NOTIFY routine is actually an embedded SQL "C" language program that takes "all" the information coming from the tools (all the tools) and feeds it to metadata tables. As I said, I have this program running in MP-RAS and Windows environments, first time in Linux however.
