Your data will be exported as as variable length file and include a two byte record length descriptor at the beginning of every record - try an export without the concatenation of each column. looking at the BTEQ script it looks to me as though you may have a delimiter after the last column. This would imply another column is on that record - try taking that out if that's the case. You may have the pipe within you data - try something like <tab> When using varchar I always err on the large side of caution by defining each column as big as the column can be - eg varchar(256) You could also try the NOSTOP feature to force through you data - you could then take a proper look at the table once it is loaded up. Give it a go.
