I think the type of doubts you described just indicates that you probably need to spend more time with Teradata documentation and then stage
tests to see how the system responds to different techniques used in queries.
This Forum has extensive archives, which is a very good source of information on Teradata. More than 10 years worth of discussions on all
possible subjects. It can be a good addition to the standard documentation.
