The key table is not fast loaded. It is the other table in staging that gets fast loaded and is joined with the key table. We run statistics on the key table but now we have started archiving keys because they are on transactions. So we have very less number of rows to join now so even not running statistics would actually not be a problem.

I did not get what you mean by 'timing issue'?
