Hi, The query as you wrote it, should return 45 rows. However, if your 'where' clause sets a condition on table B, it will negate the left outer join. When doing left outers, be careful what you place in the join "ON" vs. the "Where". By chance, when you were translating your actual code to this example... was something missed.
