<-- Anonymously Posted: Wed, 12 Dec 2007 11:15 --> Hi Folks, I know this is pretty basic but I dont know where Im failing to understand. I have a table A that has 45 rows for a particular value. i.e, if I wrote sel * from A where Col1='FMS' it feches me 45 rows.My query is like below Sel A.col1,A.col5, B.col3,B.col4 FROM A LEFT OUTER JOIN B ON A.col2=B.col2 WHERE A.col1='FMS' I get back zero rows. Am I missing something? Irrespective of how the plan is formed, should it not return 45 rows atleast? Request you to please opine. Thanks
