Subj:		Teradata DB account vs. Business Objects Portal

Hi,

Is there anyone that have experiences of using Business Objects universe (or similar BI tools) to connect to Teradata?

Business Objects (BO) users will login to BO Portal on BO's username/password. And then users will connect to Teradata to query data through BO universe. Teradata's account/password are defined in the connection of BO universe.

I'd like to gather the usage statistics of Teradata by user's department view. Is there any good mechanism to translate the BO portal username to Teradata department account?

Any information or suggestion would be very helpful... Thanks a lot!!!
